FEMA Offers Federal Assistance to Help Families Cover Funeral Costs

Up to $9,000 in aid may be available for those who suffered the loss of a loved one from COVID-19

Individuals can begin applying for COVID-19 funeral assistance for anyone who incurred COVID-19-related funeral expenses after January 20, 2020. This not only helps those who already incurred expenses, but those who have not yet held a service or purchased other funeral- and cremation-related merchandise such as headstones, urns and cremation niches.

On June 29, 2021, FEMA made it easier to file by offering more documentation flexibility for deaths that occurred before May 16, 2020.

I can't say enough about the experience we encountered at Sunset Lawn after our father had passed and this was just the natural healing and peaceful setting to the kind gentle words with a cup of coffee with love. Dylan, me and my sister appreciate everything thus far. Speaking with him made the process effortless. Much appreciated!

I go here to visit my sweet boys. Grounds are kept very clean and the property is tended to with care. I always feel peaceful when visiting.
