Robert Murray Carnelison

Robert Murray Carnelison, known as Mickey, passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 13, 2018 in Lodi, California at 87 years old. Although his journey on earth has ceased, his spiritual walk with God will forever continue

and his family takes comfort in knowing this.

Mickey was born on March 21, 1932 in Missouri to Lewis Jackson Carnelison and Nellie Vernetta Woods.  He married his beautiful wife, Ruby Jeanne (Connor) Carnelison, in 1950 and they spent a wonderful, rewarding 68 years together.  He resided in Rio Linda, California and worked as an Automotive Specialist and Construction Foreman the majority of his life, but his time was more defined by his life outside of work.

His family remembers him as the loving outdoorsman drinking hot, black coffee, always fishing, horseback riding, hunting and the memorable camping trips the entire family will cherish and talk about for years to come.  He was devoted and passionate towards the church and towards his family.

Mickey is survived by his wife, Ruby Carnelison; his daughter, Sherry and her husband Junior Friend; his other daughter, Brenda and her husband Bob Watts; his son, Robert D. Carnelison; and his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his son, Larry Dean Carnelison.

Uncle Mickey what a life of love you lived. I never seen you in a bad mood. I remember the love you and Aunt Ruby showed. Either holding hands or her sitting on your lap.

Everytime we were around the Cali family I remember love and laughter. You always had jokes to pull over on us.

Give my daddy a hug for me. I cant wait until we meet again.

    Love you so much!!!
