Reed, Virginia L.
Passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 in Garden Valley, CA. She was 80 years old. She is survived by her children Clifford (Susie) Jorgensen, Carl Jorgensen, and Claudia “DeDe” Spillers. She also leaves to cherish her memory, Step Daughters, Judy (Dale) Barnard and Karen (Michael) Harris and Stepson James A. (Lucy) Reed , 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband E.J. Reed and brother Clifford R. Orr. She was born Sunday, March 5, 1933 in San Rafael, CA to George and Hazel Orr. After attending school in San Rafael and UC Davis she became a homemaker and farmer. On July 26, 1973 she married Eulis James Reed. Mrs. Reed was very active in the 4-H Club and Eastern Star in Tracy, CA , She was very active in the Rio Linda, CA and McArthur communities.Friends are welcome for visitation, Thursday, November 21, 2013, 4:00 to 8:00 pm and are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service, Friday, November 22, 2013 at 1:00 pm both held and Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CA
