I was honored to be a small part of her extended family. Although i did not chance to be privileged, to interact much with Starla, the times I did, I only saw a beautiful gracious woman. My heart is warmed in knowing she was surrounded by much love throughout her life and until the end. She will continue to live on in those hearts that embraced her, and that she embraced with love and generosity. Her immediate family and close friends, remain in my prayers for the needed comfort in their great loss. Terri Beireis.
Starla was always so sweet and loving to her family and friends. We went to high school together, Norte Del Rio, and she was a joy to be around, so caring and funny. I know she will be missed by all who knew her, she has gone too soon. Rest in peace sweet friend. <3

It has been my fortune to reconnect with Starla to share in the joys that she created in her life. She is a sweet and caring soul that will be missed. I went to high school with Starla but did not know her until we became Facebook friends. I lke that we share the same birthdate. I've enjoyed the continous sweet and beautiful posts she shared on Facebook. My deepest condolences to her family.
I will always think of Starla as being one to say hello and greet you with a smile. She was so much fun to be with, always enjoying life! I spent thirteen years working with Starla at Kohler School. Our visits on Friday nights were the best! It was a time to enjoy each other and spend time catching up from the week. I only wish I had the chance to tell her how much I loved her. May her sweet soul rest in peace. <3
