Salud Cereno Miller's Obituary
Salud Cereno Miller was born in San Jose, Santa Cruz, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on January 31st, 1941 to parents Arsenia and Rufino Cereno. She passed away in Sacramento, California on April 13th, 2019 at the age of 78. Sally graduated from Baguio Colleges Foundation with an Associate degree in Secretarial and Stenography. She was married to William “Bill” Miller in October of 1988. Sally worked as a Stenographer for the Philippine Commission on Elections and then moved to Sacramento where she worked at Mercy Medical Group/Dignity Health for about 28 years as an Electronic Medical Records Associate.
Sally was a member of the YMCA, Rotary Club, Lions’ Club, and the United Methodist Women’s Christian Service. Sally loved reading, community service, civic and church activities. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bill Miller, her brothers Mario Cereno and Onofre Cereno, and her nephew Nestor Cereno. She is survived by her nieces Marilyn Maloto, Minerva Cereno, and Linda Cereno. She is also survived by her great-nieces and great-nephews Ronnie Cereno, Cecille Cereno, Patrick Cereno, Jasmine Maloto, Paula Maloto, Christian Maloto and Sophia Maloto.
She also leaves behind many, many friends and church family who will miss her very much.
