Sally,We love you and you will surely be missed. God gave you the gift of inviting people to the Tuesday Night Bible Study(TNBS). Over the years our TNBS has truly become a church that looks like heaven(Rev.7:9), where folks from different nationalities, languages, cultures and church groups, have come to worship the Lord together. I know that my family would not have been as blessed were it not for your friendship and for all the wonderful folks we have met at the Bible Study. We will also miss the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners you have spent with us, year after year, since we arrived here in the U.S in 1999, along with your jokes, sometimes corny but we laughed our hearts out anyway.We are proud that you have run the race God has set before you. We can’t wait till we see you again in heaven soon, what a wonderful reunion that will be, where we all will be praising the Lord Jesus Christ forevermore.

I Will miss your sweet smile. The last time we talked about all the things you still wanted to do on your last days, still thinking about service to Him and helping others , you have a big heart.Though you never got the chance to do it, God told you what you have done before is enough for Him, HE called you home to rest in His arms.Through your cancer journey , it made me believed more the power of prayers and the great healing power of Jesus, there were somany times I thought youre not going to make it , but the power of prayers proved me wrong .I admired your strength and courage throughout your journey.No more tears , no more pain .

God chose a beautiful season to take Sally home to heaven–the season of Resurrection. Sally was a loving, giving, encouraging friend. We were friends for more than 30 years. We met in Baguio, Philippines, and built a close friendship because we were part of the same church. I learned so much from Sally, especially through my participation in the women’s ministry at our church. She became part of my professional women’s Bible study held in downtown Baguio. Her love for God grew as well as her ability to help others follow Jesus more closely. In later years, we continued our close friendship in the U.S. even though we were in different states. I met some of her friends in Sacramento and observed the impact Sally continued to have in the lives of other people. All of us were shocked when Sally became ill with breast cancer. She recovered and later the cancer returned. Each time the doctors predicted her life was over, she and her group believed God for healing and He answered. Obviously, Sally finished the work on earth that God assigned to her and now He has taken her to heaven. I’m sure He welcomed her as a faithful servant. All of us feel the loss of such a dear friend, but we rejoice in the assurance of a great reunion with her in heaven one day. The Bible passage in I Peter 1:3-5 expresses the living hope we have through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christ is alive and so is Sally!

Grandma Sally, I am sorry I cannot make it in time attend the services because of school but thank you for taking care of me and Rinnah when we were young. You have been a great friend and family member to everyone in my family and at the Bible Study. I don’t really have the words to describe it, but I know your fight was well fought and now you are resting with grandma Carmelina and grandma Inyiang. I remember going to your apartment for New Years, laughing and joking around because you didn’t have an up to date TV or receiver dish, but regardless it was a memorable New Years. My earliest memory was when I was extremely young, my dad and I drove to your apartment and while he was talking to you, I released the emergency break in his truck, making it roll backward. He jumped down from your apartment to stop the car from rolling further and hitting another car. When all this was done, I looked up and saw you laughing. I am happy I got to see you before I left for college and talk to you about my studies and what college is like out here in Oklahoma. I am going to miss you a lot but I know you are no longer suffering and that you are enjoying your time in heaven.
