Fackrell, Robert “Bob” Lamar
Born December 22, 1921 in Mountain View, Wyoming and passed peacefully August 13, 2015, at home with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife Hedy, son Robert and wife Karen, grandchildren Robert “Bo”, Nick and wife Stephanie, Noah and wife Ashley and 4 great grand-children. Bob proudly served in the U. S. Marines during World War II and enjoyed the annual reunions with his fellow Leathernecks. Bob also worked for many years at Aerojet. Bob was a longtime member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. During his retirement years, Bob and Hedy enjoyed their weekly dancing activities and numerous trips throughout the United States and abroad. Bob was blessed in enjoying a long, healthy and fun life. If you wish, you may remember Bob by donating to your favorite charity.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a visitation on Wednesday, August 19th from 4 pm to 8 pm and funeral services on Thursday, August 20th at 10 am at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento CA. Following the services, there will be a celebration of life at 1 pm at the Eagle’s Hall located at 4401 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento CA.
