I worked with Richard at Orange Grove, and he was one of the most loving and gentle men I know. His sod gentle voice always made me smile when he said "hi Kafy"…he would always approach someone he didn't know at school ,such as a visitor to the school, with an outstretched hand and a "hello…Richard " he could melt any ❤️ That ever met him.Though Orange Grove Adult School is no more, Richard's gentle energy and spirit will always fill the hallways…take flight with the angels sweet Richard 👼🏼

Our dearest uncle Rich, you sure are going to be missed. We have so many memories growing up with you and feel very blessed. He always was the center of attention and the kids loved him. I remember him calling me from grandma's house and saying. "Walla des guess what on tv"…what Rich, "steinensign" Frankenstein. I tell him come over. He would ride his bike from North Sac "Leitch Ave" to our house, then call his mom he made it. Tear! So many good memories! Love you mejo. "High five" uncle Rich
Uncle Rich left behind so many memories over the years that I will never forget.When living @ home, he enjoyed our house parties with our friends. Always the center of attention. When he took the dance floor everyone would make a circle and Rich would dance in the center and we'd be egging him on. The loader we screamed, the faster he would dance ??Another memory walking to the bus stop everyday with me & my friends. He was the leader of the pack; everyone had to walk behind him and he was so proud to show us the way. He would give everyone "high 5" before he got his bus.I will miss you dearly Uncle Rich but will never ever forget you. You've left an imprint in my heart that will never go away. RIP Mejo
Uncle Richard was the sweetest person. He loved everyone and he'd let you know it. So many fond memories with the family gatherings or just hanging out with friends. I remember he would walk with me & my friends to the bus stop. Everyone would have to walk in back of him because he was the leader of the pack. Same thing on the dance floor- we had to make a circle for him and cheer him on while he "Cut a Rug".I know he has the express lane in heaven because he is our Angel. My heart is heavy on the passing of our precious Uncle Rich. I have so many beautiful memories. When I was a teen, Uncle Rich and I could play a mean game of badminton. He stood in one spot and we just hit back-n-forth until he got tired, then he slammed it. I lost, he always won. We did many puzzles together, he was and will always be "The Master of Puzzle Making". I will miss our special times together. Go in Peace Uncle Rich and reunit with ALL the Angels above.
