Grandma welcomed myself and my daughter, Tina into the family with open arms and an open heart. Her hugs had a way of bringing peace and warmth into your very being. Every hug felt like home. I can still hear her laugh, and her trademark “weeeellll.....” which you could be sure, amused insight would follow with very little judgment. I loved her stories about being an an Air Force wife, right here in Vacaville. She made me feel good about my efforts as a mom...even when I was outnumbered 5/1. Lol her encouragement would warm my heart and give me motivation to be better. She is the kind of grandma every kid wishes for, and I am ever so blessed she was mine. I am overflowing with loving memories.....
