Margaret Collier's Obituary
COLLIER, MargaretCalled home by God on April 24, 2006 in Sacramento, CA, she began her life as Margaret Mitchell on July 1, 1920 in Indianola, MS – the daughter of Willie Mitchell and Gertrude Chandler. At a very young age she married Clarence Evans. From this union were born six children. In 1952 she met and married John Collier, whom she loved and cherished to this day. From this union were born four children. Leaving to mourn her passing her husband John Collier, her sister Marie Harris, brothers, Willie and Earl Luckett, children Clarence, Robert, Patricia, Carlie, Trudy, Joye, Johnny, Mavis and Marcia (Tiana) as well as 32 grand children, 51 great grand children, 15 great great grand children and a host of loving relatives and friends. Preceded in death by mother Gertrude Luckett, father Willie Mitchell, sisters Ida Mae Ruffin, Lillian Teague, brothers Garfield and Oscar Mitchell, Eugene Luckett and son Garfield Evans. Viewing, funeral services and burial will be held at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd., on May 1, 2006 beginning at 12:15pm.
