Chris & Mike Smith
We’re just now learning of Linda’s passing. Our deepest sympathies go out to her family. We are surprised and saddened to find out she’s gone. We had fallen out of touch after some health scares in my family, but we loved Linda to pieces. I used to spend a lot of time with her at her mobile home in Sacramento. We’d play games, watch TV, have a meal, go to Ihop, or whatever — and it was always fun. She was a character – and of the best kind. We were also able to visit her in Carmichael, where she’d talk about wanting to help the cook with some recipes. She had such spunk! She always talked about her kids & grandkids, who I had the honor of meeting many years ago. She was so proud of all of them. She talked of her son often, who could fix or build anything. I remember her daughter was a lovely person. Her grandkids were young at the time, in grade school, and super bright young people. Linda was a great, great friend to me and I will miss her dearly. She used to cook for me & Mike on occasion and when he’d finally say he was full (cuz she was an amazing cook), she’d always say, “Well I’m Fuller.” We all knew it was coming, yet we’d always laugh. Cheers to you Linda. Thank you for being our friend. We love you. Xoxo
