Leah Doris LugoBeloved mother, sister and friend to all; Leah passed away on July 30, 2012; she was born on September 2, 1920 in Hayward, California. She leaves three children, Daniel Torres, Brenda Serrano and David Lugo, as well as a granddaughter and grandson, Daniel Torres; Linda Serrano and a great granddaughter, Isabella Serrano. Preceded in death by son-in-law, Tony Serrano and grandson, Dion Serrano. Leah had two sisters, Eva Garcia and Ruth Tanon and countless nieces and nephews. As a young women she attended Bible College and came to Sacramento and work with her husband who was a pastor of the Spanish Church in Bryte. She played the piano all her life and was instrumental in the music program at Trinity Church. She also ministered to the prisoners and well as many nursing homes. She brought music and joy to all who new her. She was considered the beauty of the family, her inner beauty was always evident in all she did. We want to thank the staff of Friendly Care Home for all the love and care they showed Leah. Services will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95838. Viewing at 10 am in the chapel and grave side services to follow at 11am.
