I have lovely, lovely memories of Auntie Leah!! I stayed with her off and on as a child and she was always encouraging me especially with my music. Auntie Leah was very sweet and very kind to us. Bill and I visited her in the year 2000 and that was a joy. I know she will be celebrating with the Lord right now and I thank God for her life.With much love and affection,Marilyn

Lea My beautiful sister in law:I want to thank you for all the good memories you have given me.When your brother Elliott and I got married in 1946 you gave us the key to your apartment for a 1 wk honeymoon. We were so happy and this was something I will never forget. Brenda you were about 2 or 3 yrs old and Danny was about 8 I believe. I remember when we went to the park Lea and the kids we had so much fun. Elliott was in the Navy and he would hitchhike from San Diego to Sacramento and I would see him over there. Then the war was almost over and some service men were coming home. I had to wait for My Elliott so I spent the time at your home with your family and I enjoyed every moment of it. Your brother and I loved you very much. You were our angel. I know you are now with our Mama and Dad and all of the family rejoicing.I can see Mama Thomasa sitting in her rocking chair praying for all of us.
