Some small things that I will always remember about going to Bambi’s house:
- Walking to the mailbox holding her hand and stopping on each speed bump, counting to 3, and jumping off.
- Playing in the Tupperware drawer on the kitchen floor, playing with her marbles, and helping her sort her coins for one of the games she played at the club house.
- Riding the light rail with Bambi and Alexis to Old Sac. We walked around and each got a little play-makeup palette and made ourselves look “beautiful” before our moms came to pick us up. 😂
