James David Williams' Obituary
James “David” Williams, 58, passed due to a short illness on Monday, October 20, 2014 in Sacramento, California. Dave was born in Sacramento on November 12, 1955. Dave retired in April 2011 from SMUD after 35 years of service as a High Voltage lineman. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Floy and Ray Williams. Dave is survived by his loving wife Pam Williams, his children, Joshua Williams (Meghanne), Miranda Williams, Dan Darnell (Nellie) and Papa’s favorite granddaughter, Alice. He is also survived by his father Weldon Williams (Joy), mother Wynona Williams and siblings, Anita Meany (Bob), Jerry and Dena and his beloved nieces and nephews. Dave leaves behind many beloved friends including his IBEW brothers. Dave was an avid fisherman. He belonged to the Rooster tail Fishing Club. He was passionate about gold panning and was a lifetime member of the Gold Prospectors Assn. A celebration of life will be held at the Rio Linda Community Center, 810 Oak Lane in Rio Linda, CA 95673 on November 8, 2014 from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 pm. For family and Friends.
