Jack Norwood Marshall's Obituary
Jack Norwood Marshall January 16, 1961 – April 13, 2026
Jack Norwood Marshall, born January 16, 1961, in California, passed away on April 13, 2026. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 40 years, Susan Marshall, and their children David, Daniel (Trish), and Angela Marshall. He was a proud grandfather to Taylor and Raymond Marshall, who brought him endless joy. Cherished brother of Suzanne Lucas and Kathleen Marshall. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Dolores Marshall.
Jack grew up in North Highlands, where he developed a lifelong love for the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, happiest with a dog by his side, a good story on his lips, and the sun setting over the horizon. His gift for storytelling—equal parts humor, heart, and adventure—was one of the many ways he connected with the people around him.
For over 30 years, Jack worked as a mill operator for ASC BlueScope in West Sacramento. He was known for his strong work ethic, steady presence, and the camaraderie he built with his coworkers over decades of shared effort and early mornings.
Jack had a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures: rock music concerts, the glow of a perfect sunset, and the photo albums he curated with pride. His collection of photographs—taken and gathered from the time he was young—captured the people, places, and moments that shaped his life. They remain a testament to the way he saw the world: with curiosity, gratitude, and a storyteller’s eye.
Jack will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, and the love he carried for his family. His stories, his laughter, and his presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
