I could not have asked for a better person to work for at AFP than Gil. He was always helpful and full of life and joy.

Gil was especially adapt at interpreting an assignment given to us by Bob Maben who would tell us all kinds of stories and then tell us to get to it; Gil would have to tell us exactly what Bob wanted us to do!

We always appreciated Gil's field visits to validate our work or re-direct our efforts to meet the needs of both the timber resource and the company financial needs.

Gil always brought joy and laughter into a room and we always looked forward to a funny story from the past or a favorite joke that he shared.

Rest in our Lord's wonderful arms Gil as you deserve "well done good and faithful servant".

always knew him as uncle Gilbert the one who bought us a christmas tree from the forest,seeing him on many family events watching him and uncle JT playing guitars togather helped get my interest in playing ,a good role model in my life in the family.greatfull to have know him. GOD bless all.
