I got to meet him at Lou's Burgers at times during the last few years. I loved hearing his stories about his life, and the town and how it's changed. I was amazed at his memory! He knew my parents, and our street. I learned that my dad was the photographer at Randy's wedding.
It was kinda like having a grampa around.. it was cool to hear about his life and things he went through. :)
We truly lost a brilliant historian of North Highlands. We will !miss your memories, your wonderful story telling, your smile and energy. Thanks for the memories Fred, you will be missed by so many. Hugs and prayers for the family. Rest in peace our friend.

Although Fred is my Best Friend’s (Carol) father, I really was able to get to know him when he came into the law firm Carol and I worked for, to built some doors for the firm. We all looked forward to seeing him as he would light up a room with that smile and always took the time to offer his incredible “Gift of Gab”. He had a way to make anything wrong with the world...right. Heaven is very lucky to have this Very Special Guy and even though we lost him...they gained a Star
