Grandma Dorothy, words cannot express the heartfelt emptiness I feel knowing that you're gone. I know we did not see each other much and now that guilt aches in me more then ever. If there is one thing I can take from your time here on earth, I must admit, I didn't always agree with it, but it is the will to forgive and to forget. Thank you for teaching me that hate in my heart fuels the anger we all try to escape. I wish I could have seen you one last time to tell you I love you, but that time has come and gone. I know you held the VerBrugge family together like glue, fret not, I will step in and try my best to pick up the slack. Rest and forget all the woes that this life on earth is plagued with. Sis. Dorothy attended Roseville Christian Fellowship for many years. She was a hard worker and cooked many wonderful meals–even when her shoulder was locked up.
