David Lemuel Harper, Jr.'s Obituary
DAVID HARPER was born to proud parents, David Harper Sr and Henrietta Harper on 2 Jul 1966 in San Pedro, CA. David was known for his big contagious smile, and his ability to share and care for all. He graduated from Northeast High School in North Little Rock, AR and later relocated back to California. It was during this time he met and married his wife, Ingrid.
David lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as joking with friends, family, and coworkers. The laughter he could bring into a room was unmatched with his courageous sense of humor. He joked about it all as no topic was off limits.
He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. A man full of devotion, he was faithful to his wife and his marriage was nothing short of a fairytale. David loved his children and adored his grandkids. He was a faithful and supportive father who was consistently active, available, and purposely present.
David loved his work, was a problem solver and he found joy in taking on difficult projects. David was hardworking, dependable, trainable, and always available. He talked to everyone and made you a friend in some type of way. His friendliness and kindness to all people is a tribute to the beauty of his heart and for that David will truly be missed.
His legacy continues with his loving wife Ingrid Parks-Harper, Sacramento, one daughter, Adrina Harper, Sacramento, one son David D. Harper, Bay Area, one step-son, Ralph McDonald, Bay Area, two step-daughters, Andrenceia Canty and Ymani Suarez, Sacramento, his sister, Yulinda Harper, North Little Rock, AR; two brothers, Michael Harper (Priscilla), Charleston South Carolina; Keith Harper, North Little Rock AR; four grandkids, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends on top of friends!
He is preceded in death by his mother and father as well as his brother, Henry Harper.
