Dave was a very nice young man who loved his family. When my family was going through a difficult time he helped us out. We will never forget it. To Dave’s family never forget all of your precious memories you shared with him. To God be the glory. Gone to soon. May he R.I.H.

Dear Ingrid, Keith, Michael, Yulinda & Family of David L. Harper:We express our deepest condolences. Please know our hearts are heavy and saddened by your loss. Our prayers are that fond memories of David will comfort you during this difficult journey of life. And, when questions and emotions overwhelm you reflect your thoughts on these words of wisdom. The Bible reminds us though you have suffered a grievous wound, God’s comfort in your suffering is this: His promises will preserve your lives… know weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.Draw closer to God who’s your strength and refuge in the time of distress. If I may describe one word that will see you through all your sorrows it‘s JESUS. He will wipe every tear from your eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things will passed away.May the love of family surround you and give you strength in the days ahead. As the calls and visits fades to a minimum as your loved ones return to their busy lives, may you remain in the shadow of the Almighty. As it is written, whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest. Say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Because of this declaration He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. You’re continually in our thoughts and prayers. Know, David will always be remembered and missed. With love and deepest sympathy,Carlos T. Young & Family

I love you so much Uncle David!!! I’m really going to miss you, I’m sorry that you didn’t get to meet your nieces and nephew I was looking forward to you coming out here to Charleston. I was gonna make y’all my famous garlic crabs. What keeps me trying to keep things going is the memory of us in Arkansas after Uncle Henry’s funeral when you my dad uncle Keith and yourself came back from Shipley’s tearing up doughnuts like y’all was on crack. Y’all looked so happy to be together. I’m sorry I couldn’t be out there in California to see you for the last time. Until we meet again. We love you!!!!
