Willie Roberts' Obituary
Willie Roberts Sr. born 10/02/1925 to Pearl and Ernest Roberts in Mobile, Alabama where he lived with his 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Mr. Willie Roberts Sr. has lived a long life and has touched many of us with his love and guidance. He was a joyous individual who sought out to make his mark in this world by putting his life on the line to serve our country. He went on to fight in World War II leaving with the Philippine Liberation Ribbon and one Bronze Star. Willie Roberts Sr. met the love of his life, Ella Mae, who gave birth to their one child Willie Roberts, Jr. Shortly afterwards Mr. Roberts decided to move his family to Sacramento, California where he worked at McClellan Air Force Base for more than 30 years. The later years of Mr. Roberts life was spent being retired where he found peace in just sitting on his porch and doing projects around his home. Mr. Roberts leaves behind many family members that will miss and love him. He is survived by his son Willie Roberts Jr. and will be joining his wife Ella Mae Roberts in their final resting place.
