Three children were born to this union, Cleon Jordan, Jr. (wife Bessie), Michael Jordan, and Irene Johnson (husband Jimmie). She and her husband moved to California in 1945 and settled in Sacramento. They joined Union Baptist Church and later united with Allen Chapel A.ME. Church. She served many years as a Sunday School and Missionary Society teacher.
