Willie Starr Empress Powell's Obituary
Starr “Empress” Powell was born on June 15, 1960, in San Bernardino, CA to parents Willie Powell (Deceased) and Elizabeth Powell. Starr attended Highlands High in North Highlands, CA. Starr aspired to help people and attained her Certification as a CNA. She was great at many things, but most of all making everyone around her smile. She acquired the title of “Empress” while residing in Colorado. She found much joy in stage performance and beaut competitions. Starr touched the lives of everyone around her whether it was a smile, a kind word or just her presence. She was not only a sister, daughter, and aunt she was a friend. The kind of friend that would be there for you no matter what. She departed this life all too soon and will be forever missed. Starr is survived by her Mother, Elizabeth Powell, her siblings, Phyllis Powell, Linda Wallis and her husband Bill, Reginald and wife Gayle Powell. She leaves to cherish her memory, 7 nephews, 1 niece, 14 great grand nieces and nephews, and many friends that she called family, which meant alot to her.
