William Webber's Obituary
WEBBER, William A. ”Bill”Entered into rest on December 9, 2005 in Sacramento, CA at the age of 80. Bill was born September 6, 1925, in Nebraska City, NE. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Bette; his son, John D. Webber; and daughter, Marcie Ford; his stepchildren, Angie Ruckle, Shirley Harrison, Don Ford and Sara Wayne; his sisters, Marcelene Briggs of Eureka, CA and Jan Van Ornum of Reno, NV. Bill is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lulu Webber; his brothers, Bud, Richard, Veme, Don and Dale. Bill served in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946 and 1949 to 1955; he was a life member of VFW Post 4647, American Legion Post 521, Carmichael Elks No. 2103 and Military Order of Cootie, also a member of Elkhom Moose Lodge. The family invites friends to attend a visitation on Monday December 12, 2005 from 4:00pm-8:00pm and services on Tuesday December 13, 2005 at 10:00am at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CA. Following the services, family and friends are invited to a memorial and wake at the VFW Post 4647 3300”U” Street North Highlands, CA.
