William L Richardson's Obituary
William L. Richardson, born December 4, 1935, in Pioneer, TX, and Joyce Stanfill Richardson, born February 15, 1940, in Atoka, OK, were taken from us too soon on December 31, 2025. Their three-month romance led to a wedding on June 27, 1959, and over 66 solid years of partnership and marriage.
Bill was a Korean War Army veteran, he was a Local 66 Union plasterer for over 60yrs, a perfectionist known for his skill and artistry on ornamental restoration and special plaster work. Bill a Pastor and ordained minister was known throughout his life for his heart and boundless compassion. He was always ready to lend a helping hand—whether assisting others or opening his home to those in need. Bill loved hunting, fishing, camping and enjoying the outdoors with friends and family - memories that will always be treasured. Bill loved any good meal shared with his family and friends.
Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, ordained minister, counselor, and church organist, known for her warm heart, nurturing spirit, and sound council. Joyce dedicated her life to caring for her family, supporting women and children in need. A talented cook and homemaker, Joyce poured her love into creating a warm, welcoming home for all who entered. Joyce enjoyed doing activities with her grand and great grandkids.
Bill and Joyce leave behind their beloved daughter, Jana Lynn; grandchildren, Jordan Shebley and Alyssa (Bryan)Price; and seven great-grandchildren (Xandra, Jordan II, Juliet, Dafne, Godric, Mia, & Ryder). Proceeded in death by son, Steven Kelly, followed in death by their son Kirk LaRoy. They are missed by family members Crys & Dan Marchigani, Ken & Judy Stanfill, Sheila Warner, Tina Carranza, nieces/nephews & their families, and ‘adopted’ kids, grandkids, and great-grands. Proceeded in death by Bill’s sister Lorraine Williams, brother Mervyn Richardson, niece Kathleen Hession-Cockrell.
Their legacy of Christian faith, family, love, generosity, kindness, and community service will forever be remembered by all who knew them.
