William Ochay Elliott's Obituary
William O’Chay Elliott (Popa) was blessed to have been born to the parents William Elliott and Avis Rainey on March 23, 1995. At the age of 2 he moved with his father and step Mom Shonica Murphy where he was raised in Tacoma, WA, where Popa attended Evergreen Elementary School and Cedar Crest Jr. High. They relocated to Sacramento in 2008 where he finished out schooling at Norwood Jr. High School then on to Grant School where he was very proud to be in the JRROTC program and worked so hard to graduate with Grants Class of 2013. Popa was proud to be on his way to the Army before his untimely passing.
Popa was a most loving and very helpful and giving young man. Although he was here for just a short while he touched the lives of so many. Popa was preceded in death by his grandfathers Larry Murphy (Poppy) and Richard Rainey.
