Vladimir Gelfand's Obituary
Vladimir Gelfand, 83, of Ukraine, Russia, and most recently, Sacramento, CA, passed away peacefully on the 25th of June, 2023, with his family at his side. Vladimir was born on April 1, 1940 to Peter and Hanna Gelfand in Ukraine. He went on to study medicine and worked as a urologist. He married his wife, Irina, and had two children. In 1993, the family immigrated to the United States. He was an avid skier and fisherman his entire life. He is survived by his wife, Irina, his children, Elena and Dmitri, and his grandchildren, Hanna, Samuel, and Olivia.
Services will be held at Sunset Lawn (4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento) on June 28 at 11 am.
