Todd Warren Lang, age 80, of Sacramento, California, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.
Todd was born on December 8, 1945, in Oakland, California. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a member of the 101st Airborne Infantry during the Vietnam War. His service reflected strength, resilience, and a bold, unwavering character.
He built a life centered around family, simple joys, and the things he loved most. He had a passion for cooking and took great pride in preparing meals for family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, spending time on his boat, and working on his 1970 Ford truck and his motorcycle in earlier years. Additionally, he took pride in his hobbies, including building model trains and carnival sets, as well as collecting antiques. He also enjoyed watching his favorite classic movies.
Todd created many lasting memories with his loved ones through adventures, camping trips, and travel. He had a lifelong love for his dogs, each one holding a special place in his heart.
Todd was known for speaking his mind and telling the truth, even when it was hard to hear. He didn’t worry about what others thought; he stood firm in who he was and what he believed in. Above all, he was a protector of his family and would do anything to keep them safe, a role he carried with pride and dedication.
Todd is survived by his beloved wife, Julia Lang; his children, Christine, Valerie, Roxanne, and Todd Jr.; as well as his cherished grandchildren and extended family and friends.
He will be remembered for his love of family, his strong presence, and the honesty that defined him. His legacy of love, strength, and protection will live on through all who knew him.
