TALAMANTE, THOMAS BALLESTEROS JR., entered into rest Monday, May 5, 2003 age 81. A native of Yuma, Arizona born Thursday, February 2, 1922 and a resident of Sacramento for 56 years. Precious Father of Thomas Jr., Gloria, Tony and Carmen. Dear brother of Aurora, Gloria and Enriqueta. Loving grandfather of Veronica, Marcia, Tommy Jr., Renee and Alexjandro. Also survived by 25 first generation nieces and nephews. He was member of Town & Country Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lifetime member Disabled American Veterans. He was a WWII veteran with Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart decoration. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years Stella. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in his name to Victims of Violent Crime 901 G St. Sacto., CA. The family invites you to attend a visitation 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 7, 2003 and a funeral service 10:00 am Thursday, May 8, 2003 at Sunset Lawn Chapel of The Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacto., CA. 922-5833. Interment will follow at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.
