Theresa May St. Mary's Obituary
ST. MARY, THERESA MAY, entered into rest peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at her daughters home in Lafayette after a brief battle with cancer. She was born Saturday, May 21, 1927 as Theresa May Ware inLake Charles, Louisiana to John Ignatius and Cecelia Aileen (Reichard) Ware. She graduated fromSacredHeartCatholicSchool in Lake Charles, and was a current resident of the Sacramento area since 1963. Theresa loved to dance, play bingo and play the slot machines on occasion; her greatest joy was her volunteer service at the Food Bank until recent years one of her joys was fishing. She was well known for her collection of many colorful and stylish hats. Theresa was a friendly and outgoing person with a bright smile and her happy personality will be missed by many loving relatives, dear friends and “Bingo Buddies”. She leaves to cherish her memory her five loving children Cecelia St. Mary Williams, Mark St. Mary, Curby St. Mary Jr., Theresa Marie Osborne and EldridgeSt. Mary. Also survived by 12 adoring grandchildren Paul St. Mary, Rebecca St.Mary, Curby St. Mary III, Christina Williams, Michelle Williams, Stephanie Williams, Terry Osborne Jr., Starla Osborne, Tevin Osborne, Coenita St. Mary, Cecelia Shae Williams and Jordan Campbell. Mrs. St. Mary was divorced in 1995 and remained focused on her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by both parents and 9 brothers and sisters. The family invites you to attend a visitation 4:00 to 8:00pm with a rosary at 6:30pm on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacto., CA 922-5833. Also a funeral mass10:00am on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 where she was a long time parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 1951 North Ave. Sacto., CA95838. Interment will follow atSunsetLawnMemorial Park .
