Stephen Solomon Lindsey's Obituary
Stephen Solomon Lindsey, 67, of Placerville, California passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
Stephen was born on December 21, 1956 to Charles (Tom) and June Lindsey in Sacramento. After Stephen graduated from Grant Union High School in 1975, he worked with his family in the Sheet Metal industry.
Stephen was predeceased by his parent’s Tom and June Lindsey, his brother David Lindsey, his nephew David Lindsey Jr. and his Uncle John Lindsey.
Stephen is survived by his brother Rick Lindsey and sister’s Deborah Rodriguez and Rebekah Lindsey.
Throughout Stephen’s life he relished relationships with his cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. Stephen was known for his willingness to offer a helping hand to others in need. Stephen had an ability to find humor with his contagious laughter in all that he did.
Stephen was very passionate about his high school and being a Grant Union High, Pacer. He enjoyed playing the drums and being a member of Grant’s marching and concert bands. While attending Grant, Stephen was a three-year varsity letterman. Stephen also competed in cross country, wrestling and track and was extremely proud of his accomplishments. Upon graduation his love and talent for cross country ultimately earned him a spot on the Consumers River Junior College team in 1976 and competed for a league championship. Throughout the years, it was not unusual to see Stephen attending Pacers’ sporting events.
