Sophia Santos' Obituary
Sophia Elaine Santos passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, surrounded by family. Sophia was born in 1932 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to parents Arthur and Jenny Ronquillo. She grew up in Billings. Montana before moving to West Sacramento, CA in 1948. Sophia has 4 siblings- Virginia and Joe, who preceded her in death, sister Evelyn, and brother Frank. She married Pete Santos in 1950 and had 5 children-Anthony (who died at birth), David , Nando, Eva and Rick. She has 16 grandchildren, 27 great great grandchildren. Sophia was the matriarch of her family - strong, graceful, and compassionate. She loved to dance, drink good wine, cook, and spend time with her family and friends.
