Attended the service for AJ on Good Friday. It was very nice with the selection of songs; i.e. Sinatra's "I Did It My Way". His daughter did a wonderful job on describing him and letting his friends in on a little more than we may have known. When the pastor asked for words to describe him; humorous was the first, which is what I'll miss most about him. AJ and I kind of had a running joke about the Miss Universe pageant. When Trinidad & Topega won he said it was about Trump wanting to build a resort there. He will be missed here at the BLM family.
A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship; and he who plants kindness gathers love. To your family and friends, I extend my deepest sympathy. I shall always remember and cherish our many conversations, especially those that ended in laughter. AJ, to you, shalom.
