Ruthie was born on January 1, 1938 in Olive Branch, Mississippi to Haywood and Amie Harden. She eventually settled in Sacramento, California where she raised her 5 children :David, Richard, Steve, Dorothy, and Tony. She worked diligently as a Custodial Supervisor at Grant Union High School until retirement. Ruthie served faithfully at Higher Heights Apostolic Outreach Holy Church under the leadership of Pastor Emma Lee Billie for many years. She was a sister to 11 siblings: brother James, sister Alberta, brother AZ, brother Hubert, brother Henry, sister Minnie, brother Percy, brother Haywood Jr.., brother Garon, brother Ernest, and sister Regina. Ruthie was proceeded in death by her parents, and 4 of her siblings: James, Alberta, AZ, and Henry. She leaves to mourn her passing her siblings Hubert, Minnie, Percy, Haywood Jr., Garon, Ernest, and Regina; her children David, Richard, Steve (Pennie), Dorothy, Tony (Norresa) and a host of grandchildren, greatchildren, acquaintances and friends.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed.
