Ruby Smith's Obituary
IF Flowers Grow In Heaven
If flowers grow in heaven Lord,
Then pick a bunch for me then
place them in my grandma’s arms
and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and
hold her for a while.
My Grandma Ruby was a very special lady. She was loved very much and has always been my favorite grandma.
I loved her laugh, which he did often when we were around and she always made us laugh as well.
She loved to go shopping and Monkey Wards as we called it always seemed to be her favorite.
Grandma loved country music. Whenever I would go over to their house, the county station was always on at some point and grandma would be cleaning her house like crazy. My mom laughs often how she used to wax no-wax floors. Everything in that house was always Mighty Shiny, That must be where I get my awesome neatness from. She had a bit of a sweet tooth too. It was a guarantee there were always some type of cookie or sweets in the house. She always had the sweetest tea and made the best pies. She put lots of love into everything she made, thats why they were so good. She was so proud of her grandkids and loved showing off pictures of us.
I know that I have a guardian angel watching over me until I see her again. Hopefully that will not be for a very very long time, but I am so very thankful for all the time I did get to have such an amazing grandma in my life. I LOVE YOU GRANDMA.
