Gentry, Ruby Ruth's Obituary
Ruby Ruth Gentry, age 85, born March 8, 1940, passed away peacefully in the early morning of April 30,2025 in Sacramento, California at the Waterleaf Assisted Living Facility. Born in Rogersville, Missouri to Novia and Ivon McCormack, Ruby was the fifth of eleven children. She moved with her husband Glen Cotter and daughter Glenda to Sacramento in 1960 where they had two more children, John Cotter and Bobby Cotter. She was a housewife and later owned the M&M bar and grill with her second husband, Don Gentry. She is survived by her daughter Glenda Eagle, son John Cotter, five grandchildren; Cortney Cotter-Solario, Robert Eagle, Heather Heaton, and Bailey Cotter and seven great-grandchildren; Sofia and Ruby Eagle, Elijah Cotter and Nolan Solario, Charlotte Heaton, Vada Cotter and Luca Cotter Zavaglia. Ruby, her son Bobby Cotter and her grandson Christian Cotter were all believers and are now together in the presence of the Lord. Services will be held at the Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes on May 20,2025 at 11a.m.
