Roxann Diller's Obituary
Roxann Diller, resident of Sacramento, CA passed away peacefully at home on October 26, 2014. Roxann was born Roxie Ann Rogers on July 2, 1943, in Springfield Missouri. After moving with her family to Sacramento, Roxann attended Grant High School where she met her husband Jack Diller. They married in 1961. Roxann was a 30 year employee of the Sacramento County Department of Human Assistance, retiring in 1997.
Roxann is survived by her twin sons, Sean and Shane Diller, her grandkids: Lexie Hicks, Jack Diller and Reagan Diller, her daughter- in-laws, Tara and Deborah Diller and many nieces, nephews and other family members. She also leaves behind many loving friends, including Margaret Mead and Sandy Deutsch who were faithfully by her side in her last days. She will be missed by her Friday night Bunco group, Tuesday night Bunco group, Thursday night Bingo, her Pinochle group, the Sacramento Mothers of Multiples and the Red Hat Society, the Healthy Start ladies, and her monthly movie group. Roxann had a true zest for life and will be remembered for her loving spirit, loyal friendships and her compassion towards both people and animals.
Graveside
Services for Roxann will be held at Sunset Lawn Cemetery, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, at 10 AM on Friday November 7th, 2014. A potluck celebration of life will be held immediately after the service at New Hope Christian Fellowship, 6240 Verner Avenue, Sacramento.
