Rory Alan Clark's Obituary
Rory was born June 9, 1955 in Mobile, AL to Claudette Clark and Harold Toliver. He was raised by his Mother and Step-Father, Langster Knott. They moved to Sacramento, CA in 1965 where Rory and his siblings received their education. Rory was an inquisitive person who liked to learn new things. By the age of seven he learned to change a tire and would unassembled radios, watches and stereos then reassemble them to figure out how they worked. Rory loved music and had a knack for playing chords on the piano which we attributed to genes from his father, Harold and grandfather who were musicians. Rory’s desire as an adult was to become a police officer, but a medical condition prevented this so he became a security guard and was in this profession for almost thirty years. he was determined that the medical problem would not stop him from living a normal life. and with the proper medication , he never gave in to it.
Rory had a quick smile and a tender heart. Although he never married nor had children, always had a deep love for family. He leaves to cherish his memories; His Mother, Claudette Clark Knott:
one brother, Langster (Susan) Knott; Three sisters, Christina Knott, Loren (Darryl ) Dennis; Myria (Michael ) Johnson ; four nephews: Mario Knott, Lorence Knott, Alvin Burgos And Anthony Burgos;
Great Nephews; Mario, Xavier, and Alshawn; Great nieces; Kamariana, Alayahlani and Nijera, all of Sacramento. And a host of relatives and friends.
