Robert "Bob" Leon James' Obituary
Robert passed away on May 26, 2016 from heart complications.
Bob retired from P.I.E. and Consolidated Freight Ways at the age of 65. His routes included local pick-up and delivery. He retired with over 33 years of distinguished service as a “TEAMSTER” Local #150.
Bob was an avid hunter, fisherman, and overall sportsman. In his spare time he enjoyed restoring classic cars, watching every Western and war movie made, and taking his afternoon naps with his favorite cat “Foxy” and his dog “Zoey”.
Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife Emily of 37 years; his brothers, Elmer and Philip; his sisters, Patricia, Barbara, Linda and Judith; his daughter Angela (husband Gerald); his sons Kevin and Jeorge (wife Tamara) as well as 8 granddaughters, 7 great-granddaughters, 1 grandson, 4 great-grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.
In death he joins in Heaven: his father Elmer, his mother Helen, and his sons Bobby, Jerry, and Frank. May they rest in peace.
The viewing will be held at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes on Wednesday, June 1st between 4 pm and 8 pm.
A service will be held on Thursday June 2nd at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes at 10:00 am for family and friends. Casual attire preferred.
