Robert Lee Brookins' Obituary
Robert Lee Brookins was born January 24,1932 in Marshall, Texas to the union of Thomas Brookins and Tenola McCoy. He was raised in Marshall as the youngest of three siblings Thomas and Constance. At the young age of 15, Robert joined the United States Air Force where he enjoyed a successful military career that lasted over 27 years. During the later years of his military career, Robert met and married Frankie Mitchell and settled in Sacramento. He then began another successful career for the Grant Union School District as a janitor at Norte Del Rio High school and later as a School Police Officer. Upon his retirement from the school district. Robert
enjoyed his favorite pastimes of fishing, playing dominos, working on cars, and sitting on the porch talking to family and friends. Robert is preceded in transition by his siblings, Thomas and Constance, Mother of his children Frankie Brookins, and sons Tommy and Robert. He leaves to celebrate his life, daughters Patricia, Laverne, Nancy, Carolyn, Lorraine and Rene; Sons Robert King, Dennis, Michael, Patrickm Mervin and Aaron; Cousin Ethel Doris, Ex-wife Dorothy and bonus sons Dan Weary, Edward Debbs, Eural Debbs and Anthony Debbs. He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
