It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Richard Carl von Ferber at his residence in Roseville surrounded by loved ones on Monday, November 23, 2020. Richard was in his 86th year.
He was the son of the late Florentina "Flora" and Albert, predeceased by brothers Leon, Vernon and daughter Jeanie.
Will be lovingly remembered by his son Earnest (Elsie) and grandchildren, Ernest (Jennifer), Krista (Jason), Douglas & Karl (Yvette) along with great-grandchildren Evan, Felix & Mariah. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins extended family and many good friends.
Richard was a quiet and kind gentleman holding the highest integrity in work and in family life. He loved going hunting and fishing with good friends and family, enjoyed the slots at the casino while not passing up the chance to eat a nice big bowl of ice cream.
Richard was above all passionate and proud of all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes Funeral home, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
