Rhonda Lee Mack's Obituary
Rhonda Lee Mack (neé Musgrave)
Rhonda Lee Mack, 79, passed away peacefully May 8, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Rhonda came into this world February 27, 1946. She was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to George Thomas Musgrave and Violet Sarah Walker Musgrave.
Rhonda is fondly remembered for her love of music, classic movies, and her feeding and care of curious critters: Furry Felines; delicate Hummingbirds; many fabulously feathered friends; wily squirrels; precocious possums, and lest we forget, the hungry humans too. Unto her table all were welcomed, for hunger and thirst, they never met. Her wicked sense of humor and contagious smile endeared her to all who knew and loved her.
Rhonda is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, James Mack of Sacramento, California, and loving children; sons: David Mack (JoAnne) and Kenneth Mack, both of Myrtle Creek, Oregon; Robert Mack of Sutherlin, Oregon; and Steven Mack (Tesa) of Roseburg, Oregon. Daughters: Tina Lynn Montegna (John “Monte”) of Haughton, Louisiana; Terri Lee Nevins of Warrensburg, Missouri, and sister Diane Anderson of Boise, Idaho. Grandchildren: Christopher Mack (Katrina), Alicia Mack Hockersmith (Henry), Brandon Mack, Alexa Mack Hutchinson (Jerrod), Becca Mack, Matthew Mack (Jaxy), and Mykayla Mann, all of Oregon; Marie Warsing (JR) of Idaho; RJ Warsing (Bry) of Washington; Tabitha Nevins Simmions (Hayden) and Tesslyn Nevins (Joshua) of Missouri; Alexander Montegna of Louisiana and Patrick Montegna of Maryland. Great Grandchildren: Selena, Lilly, and James (Marie) of Idaho; Ivan and Jaylynn (Alicia), Keagan and Amberly (Christopher), and Paxton (Alexa), all of Oregon; and Heinrich (Tabitha) of Missouri, as well as many treasured nieces, nephews, and beloved relatives and friends.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents George Thomas and Violet Sarah Musgrave, brother Gene Musgrave; her sisters: Lorna Johnson and Shirley Badia; her loving daughter Tawni Marie Warsing, and grandson Michael Mann.
“Heaven holds your beating heart, but still, I hear the endless echoes of your chorused breath. And hold fast my open arms, eternal snuggles and endless cups of coffee. Yes, this must truly be Heaven.” ~ TLM
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Rhonda’s honor to the SPCA.
