Reginald H. RowlandReggie was born on August 6, 1935, in Oklahoma City, OK. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly following an accident in Pleasant Grove, CA. on June 26, 2012, at the age of 76. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorna, son John, and his parents Richard and Irma. He is survived by his daughters Rosa Umbach (Ken), Revonna Roper (Dean), Pauline Fassler (Steven), Regina Tallman, his son, Johnny, his brother Royce (Audrey), and by his fiancee Lottie King. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, a nephew, nieces, and cousins. He began his working career in the early 1950s in Oklahoma City at a Ford dealership in its parts department, which led to a life long career with several Ford dealerships in Northern California. His career with ford was briefly interrupted by the service in the Army in Korea. He eventyally settled in Pleasant Grove, CA and, along with his wife Lorna, became a volunteer with the Pleasant Grove Fire Department. He retired from Harrold Ford, but continued his volunteer work with the fire department until he passed away. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 4 to 8PM at the Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95838. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Howsley Road & Pacific Ave., Pleasant Grove, CA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Pleasant Grove Fire Department, 3100 Howsley Road, Pleasant Grove, CA 95668.
