I met Rafael around 1979 when I worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad. I was a new hire then & a little nervous like most new hires. Rafael had already worked for a few years & was very helpful & kind to me. One thing we both had in common was a sense of humor & his joyful laughter was always present even doing the sometimes laborious work the railroad required. Rest in Peace Amigo.
