Rachel Diane Barnett's Obituary
Rachel Diane Barnett, 57 of Sacramento CA, passed away August 16th, 2022.
Rachel was born November 6th, 1964, to Ruby Barnett and Thomas Mclain, sister to Paula, Karen and John. She was an amazing mother of 4 children, Samantha and Nathan Bartlett, Alexandria Reno, and Chance Defrance. Now joined in Heaven with her eldest son Nathan Bartlett, her mother Ruby and siblings Karen and John. Also survived by her abundance of grandchildren starting with Mckinzie and Cody Williams, Sylar and Grayson Bartlett and Serenity Reno. She was a loving aunt to Amber, Jamie, Karen and Stephen Dobbs.
Rachel cared about so many people and was loved by many more. She was always there for her kids whenever they needed her even when they didn’t know it themselves. She would have done anything for them and her precious grandbabies. Even flew across the United States just to spend some of her time with them. She wasn’t a perfect woman but she did her best, she was ours. She would cry at kid movies or talk throughout the whole thing, asking questions when she could’ve just watched and would have got the answers. She was the woman who would make extra food on Thanksgiving just to be able to give to those without. Rachel’s sister Paula, would volunteer to help friends in need and Rachel was always right there with her doing whatever needed to be done. Rachel will be missed by so many of her friends and family as she was a piece of the heart that beats in us all. Rest in peace Rachel. Until we meet again!
Her service will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes Sunset lawn. Located at 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95838.
Viewing will be held September 15 2022, from 3pm to 7pm. The Service September 16 2022 at 1:00 pm.
