Paul Sven Gullans was born in Finland August 9, 1922 and passed away in Sacramento, California April 21, 2013. His wife La Verne, of 61 years recently passed away in October, 2012. Paul is survived by his 5 children, Stephen (Susanne), Mark (Gayle), Daniel (Barbara), Lisa (Charley), Rebecca (Gerhard), 15 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Paul Immigrated to the states with his parents as a child and grew up in Springfield, Massachusetts. Paul was a minister of the Lord for over 30 years, 25 of which he spent in Sweden with his family. He loved to talk about the Lord Jesus with everyone he met. He also taught high school science for 10 years. He was proud of his service as a flight instructor in the Army Air Corp during World War II and loved to recall his experience playing competitive ice hockey at Rensselaer in New York State right after the war. Of course his faith in Christ was most important of all to him. Funeral services will be held on May, 3, 2013 at 10:00 am at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95838
