Patrick Wayne Jones' Obituary
Patrick Wayne Jones was born August 14, 1967 to LeRoy and Carolene Jones of Phoenix, AZ.
He was the 3rd child of the Couple.
Patrick attended Dunbar Elementary School and South Mountain and Maryvale High Schools. where he was an outstanding football, basketball and track athlete. After High School, Patrick played football at Phoenix College in 1987 and relocated to Northern California in 1988, eventually settling in Sacramento. He attended Western Pacific Trucking School and obtained his Class A Commercial License.
He jointed More Life Worship Center under the pastorate of Elder Richard E. Willoughby. He heldp the Deacons clean the church and was part of the Men’s Fellowship.
Patrick was a dovoted husband and father, who loved spending time with family and friends. He was blessed with 5 beautiful children and was a loving, understanding father who cherished each of them. He had kind eyes and a beautiful smile that would light up his face. He was a selfless person who could always be counted on to help those in need or to listen and offer encouragement. Patrick was an excellent cook and created culinary masterpieces. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan who represented his team whether they were winning or losing. He would often engage in trash talking with fans of other teams, but always in fun.
Patrick was a loving husband to Nicole and took EXCELLENT care of her. They were total opposites in many ways, but they loved spending time together, engaging in activities from the mundane to the exciting. He had a great sense of humor and they spent many hours just laughing and talking as they shared their lives.
Patrick was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Jones, and sister, LaDonna Jones, He leaves to mourn his memory, wife Nicole Jones, mother, Carolene Jones, children, Shawkees Jones, Jamen Jones, Lisa Jones, Dayzha Romero (Byron, Jr.) and Imone Jones, Brother Marcus Jones, (Kim), sisters Tina McDowell, Shamelle Scott (Arnold), Christy Jones, grandson Damari Jones, and a host of family and friends.
