Oren Ray O’Neal
June 19, 1933 ~ June 11, 2025
Oren Ray O’Neal was born on June 19, 1933, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025. Oren was married to his loving and devoted wife, Sylvia Ann, from October 18, 1952 until her death on July 14, 1999.
In addition to his wife, Sylvia Ann, his eldest son Toney Ray O’Neal, and daughters Kathryn (Kathy) Marie O’Neal and Sharel (Shelly) Elaine Allard preceded Oren in death.
He is survived by his children, Richard (Rick) O’Neal, Tammy Del, Nero, and Sandra (Sandy) Patterson, as well as numerous grandkids and great-grandkids.
He loved going camping, vacationing with his family, playing music, Dr. Pepper, and gardening. He took pride in making various wines from the grapes grown in his garden, and liked to share it with family and friends, although he rarely drank wine himself.
Oren is deeply missed, cherished in our memories, and will live on forever in our hearts.
Memorial services to honor Oren’s life are scheduled at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Visitation/Viewing is from 10:00am-1:00pm, with Memorial Services at 1:00pm, followed by a Graveside Service.
