GILMORE, OLIVE MARIE, entered into rest Tuesday, June 4, 2002 in Carmichael, age 85. A native of Shepherd, Michigan born the 7th child to Ernest and Elsie (Berger) Howard, Thursday, November 9, 1916 and a resident of North Highlands for 49 years. Beloved wife for 56 years of William L. Gilmore. Precious mother of Terri McGarvey, Garnett Volkens and Marsha Perez. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star and also past president and life member of the VFW post 4647 Women's Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by both parents, 7 brothers and sisters. Olive was a loving and beloved wife and mother. The family invites you to attend a visitation 4:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, June 7, 2002 and Saturday, June 8, 2002, 10:00 am to 1:30pm and funeral services 2:00 pm Saturday, June 8, 2002 at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacto., Ca. 922-5833. Interment to follow at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.
